No matter how many years pass, I can always come back to this for a laugh. Truly great.

i wish my brain could think up shit like this still lol <3
maybe i should get back in the art forum...
HO MAN
Link is SO WACKY!
I sure do love exploiting popular characters for the sake of attention and praise!
As soon
As a read "Nobody wins in this game", I started cracking up.
Thank you for that.
:DDDD
Yesshhh
Out finally, love all the parts.
Cool new menu too, kudos to Simon if it was him.
Can't wait to do the next one.
(also is it just me, or is mine and your parts missing music?)
Nah it was spite who made the menu and it worked for me bro
Nice.
Cool animation.
But don't you think it would be easier to do these on a light table rather than journals?
the whole reasoning behind the journals is the pages stay lined up, i can take them to class and animate during lectures and they are a nice size and portable. and they are bound together and i can keep them forever. haha
Well...
It was okay....
The animation wasn't so great. I think it would have been much better/impressive if it was "real" frame by frame, as in, redrawing every frame. It looks much more cleaner if you do it like that, although it will take a lot more time.
As for the story, there really was none, it was just random actions occurring. The animation didnt really sync with the song very well, when it was an upbeat part of the song there should have been more actions going on the screen, maybe something fast paced. I don't mean as in it doesn't transition on the correct tempo as the song. I mean the animation doesn't really match the tone of the music.
As for the random factor, most of it seemed rather not thought out. Like you were just making it up as you were going on. If you story board something it will drastically increase in quality, I promise you. You can still have it be random, AND well thought out.
Overall it was decent, but could have been done much better.
I don't see the point of erasing when you are building on what you have in the previous frame. The music was added afterwards, but I probably should try picking a tune before animating for another submission at some point.
I was great!
My only complaint is that it seemed more of an opening on to the rest of this kids life rather than a whole movie.
But other than that, you had some smooth animation and great voice acting. Cant wait to see some more stuff from you!
Thanks man... Can't wait to see more stuff from you either
Uhh Bad...
The trace-bitmap backrounds really threw me off in the beginning, and then you didnt really recover from that since it was just a bunch of movieclips playing over for 30 seconds. Props for decent drawings though.
I wanted to keep it simple, and when you play music, well, that's how it looks like =P
It shows.
The fact that you planned this whole thing and storyboard really shows.
It was very enjoyable.
I happen to have that same book, (as do a lot of others) and you're definetly right. Best investment I ever made in animating, (except maybe my tablet)
Good luck on future animations.
thanks, you too. hopefully something good will come of all of this!
